They were detained from the coastal area adjacent to Banshkhali upazila's Chhanua Union. He said the detainees were trying to migrate to Malaysia in an engine-run boat. The law enforcers are looking into the identity of the detainees. Legal actions would be taken against them if proof of illegal migration attempts were found, the police officer said.
